I guess the issue today is with all the units they added, 50 gold is too much for talent change.
Instead of me using predictors I decided just change the talent on the whim for one of my Diego. Ouch expensive mistake. Never going to do this again.
A lot of these skills are not set to 100% of the time.
They are more like: with probability of 10%, during the attack, decrease the damage suffered by the building. ( I do not remember exact percentage). One in ten attacks could be prevented.
They are good against poorly constructed cartel compounds with high density of towers. I do not know why you need 4 of them. I can create a mayhem with just one level 20 and I do not believe I have a talent assigned. Just one.
I am a developer with insane amount of experience. There are no truly random sequence generators. For good randomness (OS, certificates) we capture noise on the network card channel. This game does not require anything near.

Wow I got this amazing level 2 survival skill, it increases health of the hero by 3%. It will go good with my tutorial damage 1 skill + 1% damage.
Any suggestions where should I put these... Stop the music __ if I assign (A S S I G N) these skills to one of my reaper(s) - he will deal 1% more...
Personally, I think, during the cartel wars attacks on the base camp and resource centers should be ignored. But this (a) is not how the game works (b) could have been added intentionally to add a randomness to this game.

The talents are randomly generated. For the sake of arguments let say there is 25 offence talents. Palmere server supplies the initial seed: 34343. Based on that seed software generates "random" float between 0 and 24 and generates weighted skill level. [smoke,3]...
Same thing ... You should never do a war attack when you're vulnerable. The fact that you "won the battle" is meaningless. Software were not able to report the battle that you won to Palmeer servers because your base came under an attack.
