The defensive bonuses provided by the sicario to the buildings are not lost even if the sicario wanders away from the building. In fact, they're not even lost when the sicario dies.

I'm just going to be kind of a dissenting voice here in regard to two things: a) I personally have no problem with weekly events with low payout, rather than one big event every 2 months. 2 Skill chests (if that is indeed the reward, i don't know) are good value, they're priced at 200 Gold...
