I have had very slow player repopulating on my map since the update (five player opponents in 24 hours), yet I've had almost 40 player attacks over the last four days. I guess that makes sense. If i show up on five maps per day and i get five revenge attacks, that makes 10 attacks on my base...
I don't know what level player you are. For me, the outposts have become almost pointless because of the opposite problem. I am a level 47 player and the level 45/46 outposts I am receiving are absolutely no challenge and provide 1/2 the reward of the level 48-54 outposts I was receiving...
By the way, I'm not unhappy that players have spent money on building up sicarios. I'm saying that i don't believe it's been good for the game to have players who can take down entire bases without setting a boot on the ground. As i said earlier, I'm guilty of upgrading my sicarios as well...

I agree with you that it would be better for FTX to add something. A health boost to all buildings with or without a sicario would definitely be helpful.
I agree with you that you can't defend 100%. I'm suggesting that FTX find a way to reign in some of the abuses created by having super powerful sicarios and talents to create a little more balance in the game.
I truly believe that FTX is unwilling to suffer the backlash if they downgrade what people have legitimately bought (sicarios and talents). That being said, i think they could address this in a couple of ways.

It's by design. They want you to spend gold to shelter resources to make an upgrade. It's all about getting players to spend real money. They don't see this as a design issue; it's by design.
