Suppresive Fire Skill Set on Cartel Defense Sicario

So I assigned the Suppresive Fire Skill Set on El Bronce. So it took on the Sicario but doesnt show to effect my defenses at my compound. Anyone else have this problem.

They not going to allow suppressive fire to work on a compound sicario..

Figured that but was just curious. Imagine a compound protected by all Cartel Defense Sicarios with this skill set.
