I have said it for other games. One of which has been ruined by greed. Only a few core players remain loyal to it. I think it grosses an estimated 20k a month now. Down from over 500k. So I will say it again.

DEVELOPER GREED KILLS GAMES.

Seriously. Pay attention @Chase - FTX Games I look at my gold reserve. Let's assume it is exactly 500 because I just made for me, a 7.00 purchase.
Battle 1: 90 secs.
Battle 2: spend 60 gold to build my gordos. Maybe 2 mins.
Battle 3: spend 40 gold to build my troops. Another 2 mins of play.
Repeat this process a few more time. I just spent 7 bucks to play this game for 20-30 minutes.

I log off. Resources gone. So I look at it and say 7 bucks for 30 minutes then I have to spend again. NOPE. My money can now stay in my pocket.

ON THE OTHER HAND

Just imagine that that gold could be stretched to an hour or two of play. Guess what. I'd spend it. Then I'd buy more. Right now, I'm not spending much of it. I would like more bang for my buck. Then you'd get more of my bucks.

It's ashamed they are going to kill the game. I am already seeing people move on. I am still holding out hope they will figure out a better way to monetize but everyone I talk to in the game quit buying gold.

Hopefully they get it worked out before everyone jumps ship.
