Country of the chat and ranks. What defines them?

Hi!

I just entered on an united states Cartel but the global chat and both cartel and players ranks are set to the previous country cartel i was in. Doesnt this change? or is it set to show the country i am at?

The global chat was set based on your actual location / region.

You can try a global chat with other country by changing your vpn
Also you will move in to your new regional player rank

It is the internet and the game limits players to the actual location where we are? yuck...

HEY! FTX! Can't you change the location of a player according to the Cartel we are in ? That would be much more awesome. Afterall, if the cartel I am in is on country top 20, it would be fun to see it. Not to mention my country global chat is reduced to 4 people talking on it, I bet there are more countries like this, so it would give us the opportunity to change to a more thrilling and enticing global chat with more people.
