Come on developers, matched against a player with 4 times my medal count..... you are having a laugh!

You need to get a grip on the player matching.

I can see it takes time but there is a limit to players patience.

They took too long..
And they ignored too many.

And this behaviour/policy wont change,
Its up to you if you want to reward that.

I stopped playing boom beach years ago as it went the same way. New upgrades were introduced only to get players to spend money and once they had them you couldn't touch them.

Well the concept of making money out of a game is hard. It always takes time.
In a lot of cases they dont understand the gaming scene.

And a lot of their decissions are based on their income. Unfortunately short sighted.
This is a classic error being made by FTX
They dont seem to care about customer retainment.
In this case FTX is owned by playtech.
playtech is a casino operator basically.
they are all about conversion numbers.
In casino the life time of a customer is average 6 months.

The lifetime of a gaming customer can be for years and years.
so in gaming retention is something that matters.

Good point Dino. If they would sort the game out they would bet a 100 customers spending $5 on the game instead of hoping they get 1 customer spending $500. The 100 would tell 100 who tell another....... you get my point. Where as the $500 dollar guy doesn't want anyone else playing it so he can look good

And you are right about being a customer for years. I have played Call of Duty since it came out on pc. I go back to the good old days and have 3 copies of first version as you had to run a server on a spare pc :D

Thats what it comes down to yes.
in gaming there are only few that spend big in relation to guys spending only $10 a month on a game.
But having 100k people play. Spending 10$ a month equals a turnover of $1mil a month.
the strength is in the amount of people who play.

If they would sort the game out there will be loads of players who would spend a little money every couple of months, google play gift cards for christmas etc and would keep the game going for years. Developers never seem to realise that there will always be new players coming into the game who will spend a few $ or £ get a little boost at the start and long time players who will just lose interest in the game. Its only natural to want to win but making it so only real money allows you to win is not the way. Make the competition fairer and make players work for it. I have world number 36 player (Rio) in my cartel and he hasn't spent 1 penny on the game. That must be rare when you see the level of some of the players in the world rankings...... lets just buy our way to the top.

Well i played many games and ranked in the top10 without really spending large amounts.
It takes time and dedication all the way.
But it is what makes a game fun

Lol well considered it had only 39kb available memory... and considering the things people did with it that.. compared to today where you need gigabytes of memory to run a slow program....

Lol i even had a floppy drive for it later on
