The cost of leveling up

I thought it was a good thing to be at a higher level. It's not. You get penalized for leveling up. The minimum bet on games like the kingdom, blizzard, Michonne and the like keeps going up. I'm at level 1030 and it now wants 400,000 on some and as much as 800,000 in others to activate the special feature that started at 200,000. So the more you play the harder it is to play.
