Does the multiplier kicks in after you destroy a base or the compound?

Doesn't matter if you destroy the compound later or right away, the War points multiplier is retroactive and ALL points will be multiplied, ones you got before compound went down and ones you get after it goes down will all be multiplied.

I think the multiplier should only be applied to points gained AFTER a cartel destroys the enemy compound.
