Honest League suggestion

Can we have instead of regular medal count replaced with "medal count in the league".

I mean when New League starts currently the difference between the top player and the bottom player was nearly 30 medals. [I checked one second after the start time].

I propose to replace medal count - with the medal count in the league where everybody starts with 0 medals. Or maybe medal count could be presented as "0 / 867", where 0 medal count since the start of the league and 867 total count.

30 medals... that's a lot. My league had a difference of 133 medals!!!! That's insane.

And what do you think which max Lvl differences should be between the players?

In principle, i like your suggestion... everybody starts at same medal count...

Just want to say, a lvl 40 guy can gain medals very very easy (Pablo's base, more inactive players on map) compared with Lvl 55 or 60 guys...

I don't know what the right answer is. But maybe we start with asking the question "what's the purpose of the league system. " It seems like it should be to reward players who have the best week increasing their medal count. Right now the league system is skewed heavily towards people who happen to be placed higher in medal counts at the start of the week. Starting at zero isn't really fair either because i may leave my map filled at the end of the week and stack up my revenge attacks. Maybe a multi - week rating system. As an example, start at zero for the week plus 50% of your medals from two weeks ago, 75% of your medals from the previous week, and you get 100% of your medals from this week. A bit complicated but it seems fair.

Any other ideas?

Not realy, to set up fair groups there are so much variables...

Can't they just group Silver I 30-40s, Silver I 40 - 50s, Silver I 50 - 60s. I do not have a clue how many real players they have.

lol 3 new guys just entered my league. they have pretty much 100 medals from me and i advanced 2 weeks ago (finished 7th last week) so i basically can't even compete for maybe who knows how long (weeks? months?). i mean jesus, just make it somewhat fair (idk 10-30, from probably 3rd place) so people have at least a fighting chance my god.

I will post my suggestion in this thread as well and hopefully it will be read.
Firstly, put players with equal ranking at the beginning of the league up to let's say 15 points difference between the 1st and the 25th.
Second, introduce the level of the players in the ranking system by creating points milestones:
- first milestone let's say at level 35 - at this level the players will start receiving +3 points for pvp instead of 2
- second milestone at level 45 - where the players will get +4 points from pvp
- third milestone at level 50 - +5 points
- fourth milestone at 55 - +6
- and then at every 3 levels
This way leveling will have a meaning. Right now it has 0 effect in the league ranking.

The milestones depend on the total pool of players and only the devs can allocate it properly based on the statistics. The above is just an example.
