I might be misinterpreting the problem here, apologies if so...

for the finca, if it says "x2" that simply means it has 2 sets of ground defence acting on it. It does not tally up the ranks of the skill set.

e.g. you could have sicario A has ground defence rank 3 and sicario B has ground defence rank 1, both helping finca. So it will say "x2" not "x4".
hope I've explained it.
