Missing out on event

So apparently an event started on friday? Nothing has popped up for me. Also people in my cartel have said about 2 running at the same time. Has anyone else missed out on the event?

Event is bugged was supposed to start friday but started earlier and if u dont check map u would not know about it, there is no inducation its going on
